Man and Woman standing on Bridge at Narrandera Wetlands

About

Discover the natural beauty of the Narrandera Wetlands, just across from Brewery Flat Oval and near the Sturt and Trunk Route memorials. This spot is a haven for nature lovers, offering a glimpse into the lives of local wetland birds, frogs, reptiles, insects, and mammals.

Wander along the easy-grade 1-kilometre walking track that loops around the wetlands, providing stunning vantage points and plenty of opportunities to pause and take it all in. Peer out from the bird hides and you never know what feathered friends might make an appearance!

The wetlands also play an important role in filtering the town’s stormwater before it flows back into the river system. With seating areas and informative signage, it’s open all the time and you can visit at dawn, during the day or at dusk to experience the ever-changing landscape.
